The Nerual Coding Lab is broadly
interested
in finding the link between neuronal activity and the complex adaptive
behaviour of organisms. We use neurophysiological and behavioural
techniques to study the principles
underlying sensory perception and learning. In highly controled
behavioural experiments, rats are trained to perform a sensory
discrimination task in order to collect a reward. Different projects
investigate how the brain analyses the sensory information, learns
about the stimulus reward association, and makes decisions under
uncertain conditions. See Research
for more
details.
