Dharani is a research fellow and clinical psychologist within the School of Psychology at UNSW Sydney. Her work is focused on developing and evaluating scalable psychological programs for adversity affected communities within low-resource settings, with a focus on understanding mechanisms underlying the implementation of these programs within humanitarian contexts. She is also a consultant for the World Health Organization and leads research to understand how government, organisational, and programmatic factors influence policy and adoption of scalable psychological programs, globally.
