Gulsah is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Refugee Trauma and Recovery Program, UNSW School of Psychology. Gulsah's research focuses on strengthening mental health and psychosocial support services in complex humanitarian settings. Using innovative, dignity-based research approaches, Gulsah studies social determinants and drivers of mental health following forced displacement and designs programs to support wellbeing and work of humanitarian workforce. Gulsah works towards narrowing research and practice gap by making research more relevant to the needs and priorities of affected communities and organizations on the ground.
