Karly is a Research Fellow in the Decision Neuroscience Lab. She is a behavioural neuroscientist researching how the brain operates when we learn new associations and make decisions. She is particularly interested in how we form habits and what goes wrong when we act impulsively or compulsively. Her research aims to improve our understanding why our brains lead us to make poor choices so we can develop more effective treatments for mental health disorders.
